The Top Five Most Valuable Funko Pops! of All Time

We love to celebrate the characters of our favorite movies and series by collecting Funko Pops! and who knew some of these vinyl figures could come with such a hefty price tag? Read on as we unveil the top five most valuable Funko Pops! of all time and if you’re lucky, you could have one of these sitting on your shelf as we speak.

1. The Golden Ticket – 2-Pack

The most expensive one in all of the land comes in at $71,670 and is one of the rarest Pops to ever be created. In this high priced Funko is a gold version of Willy Wonka and an Oompa Loompa. Only 10 of these rare figures exist and four were given away at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con to guests who won a golden ticket from a chocolate bar. We can only imagine the joy they must have felt winning this epic collectible! The other six Pops were apparently given to lucky friends and employees of Funko. In May of 2022, GrailMonster purchased a Golden Ticket – 2-pack from an SDCC winner for $100,000 – the most ever paid for a Funko Pop!

2. Freddy Funko as Tony Stark (Metallic)

The second most valuable Pop! comes at a price of $38,660 and was introduced at SDCC 2012. Only 12 Freddy Funko as Tony Stark (Metallic) were created and we’re positive that Funko fans that love Marvel went absolutely crazy over this one.

3. Freddy Funko as Buzz Lightyear (Glow in the Dark)

We think Buzz definitely deserves a spot on this list. This 12-piece set comes at a price of $38,660 and was released exclusively at the Fundays event at SDCC 2011. Freddy Funko as Buzz Lightyear (Glow in the Dark) was the third Freddy Funko to ever be created. This was among 25 Freddy Funko 12-pieces that were released in 2011, 2012 and 2013 at Fundays and given away through raffles and drawings to lucky winners.

4. Alex DeLarge Clockwork Orange Funko (Glow in the Dark)

Coming in at $26,060, this Funko Pop! is the absolute rarest of all time. In this Pop, Alex isn’t holding his cane, which is the main difference between this one and the standard version. Funko’s plan to produce a full line of Clockwork Orange Pops! unfortunately didn’t go through because the company had no other choice but to destroy them, as per Clockwork Orange’s parent company. Brian Mariotti, CEO of Funko, held on to 12 Chase and 12 non-Chase Clockwork Orange Pops and hand-signed and numbered each of them. The non-Chases were given out to friends and the Chases were given to Gemini Collectibles. We’re guessing this intricate backstory is the reason this awesome Pop comes with such a hefty price tag.

5. Freddy Funko as V (Metallic)

Another Freddy Funko makes this list and this time he’s V for Vendetta with a value of $24,000. This valuable Pop was the 14th Freddy Funko ever made and was released exclusively at the Fundays event at SDCC 2012. Along with Freddy as Buzz, this was another 12-piece Pop that was released at Fundays 2011, 2012 and 2013 and given away for free among the audience.

So that wraps up the top five most valuable Funko Pops! of all time.
